LEXUS FIFM BANNER

Making a promotional looking experience feel like a helpful product tool

The existing FIFM (Find It For Me) banner visually read more like an advertisement than a helpful tool. The design opportunity was bigger than changing the banner itself.

Project Overview

Client:
Team One Lexus

Role:
Sr. UX Designer

Scope: Product Design · UX Strategy · Information Architecture · Interaction Design

WHY LEXUS

Built on Confidence.
Designed for the Journey.

Areas of Exploration:

When a helpful tool looks like an ad, users may treat it like one.

The existing FIFM treatment competed with the surrounding experience instead of clearly communicating its utility.

Design Challenge

How might we make FIFM feel useful, informative, and naturally connected to the user’s shopping journey?

Make the section more informative

Clarify what FIFM does and why a user should engage with it.

Remove the section entirely

Explore whether the experience could be simplified by removing the standalone FIFM card and integrating its CTA elsewhere.

Rework the layout

Restructure the page to guide users more directly to the dealer form.

We create ideas worth seeing, stories worth feeling, and experiences worth remembering. Creative direction, experience design, and film—bringing ideas to life from concept to screen.
